小説「吾輩は猫である」の作者夏目漱石ゆかりの地として知られる東京・神楽坂で１９日、猫好きが仮装して街を練り歩くイベントが開かれた。
午後２時から１時間半に渡り、思い思いの"化け猫"姿になった参加者らが、情緒のある神楽坂通りの約７００メートルを往復。仮装姿で散策を楽しんだ。
漱石は神楽坂に近い新宿区喜久井町出身で、多くの作品に神楽坂が登場する。
イベントを企画したデザイナーのおかめ家ゆうこさんによると、来年以降はもっと大掛かりなイベントにするつもりで、「大人の街というイメージの神楽坂ですが、こうした楽しみ方もあることを知ってほしい」と話した。
