Today, My dad told me about Gingko.

Gingko tree have a sex, it is differ from usual trees.

Usually, Tree has flower and it has stamen and pistil in a each flower.

But Gingko Tree has differ sex in a each tree.
Male tree has male flower, Female tree has female flower.
Gingko nuts are bear only female tree.

Female tree is only few, maybe 10%.
So, some person had not seen gingko nuts on tree.

今日パパが銀杏の木について話してくれました。

銀杏の木は性別を持っていて、普通の木と違うんだって。

普通は、木は花が咲いて、一つの花の中にオシベとメシベがあります。

でも銀杏は木ごとに性別があるんだよ。
雄の木には雄の花、メスの木にはメスの花が咲きます。
銀杏の実はメスの木にしかならないんだよ。

メスの木は少なくて、10% くらいです。
だから、銀杏の実を見たことがない人もいるよ。
